TEN FOOT RULE: PROLIFERATION
(Portland, Oregon, USA)
Another great comic in Shawn’s Ten Foot Rule series. Always guaranteed to make you grin. Most of this issue is about Shawn’s adventures as part of the Copy and Destroy Book and Zine Tour. He spent a month travelling to various zine friendly outlets performing readings (some of the partners in crime included Alex and Joe of Microcosm Publishing and Stolen Sharpie zine). Not long after that he also organised his own comic workshop tour. He gives handy tips on DIY touring if you're ever thinking of something similar. Worth also purchasing to see the photo of Shawn (circa 1992) with an excellent mullet. $1/ 20g/ quarter size/ 18p

UN #2
(Marrickville, NSW)
The piece I enjoyed the most in this issue was Tim’s exploration of how often tourists photograph the Sydney Opera House per day, which sits alongside those impossible questions we ask ourselves from time to time. His zine is a collection of photographs, collages, and writing that is so brilliant and evocative that you don’t quite know how much is fact and how much is fiction. $1/ 30g/ A5/ 22p
